Annis McCabe is a professional sculptor and artist
working in many mediums. Recognized as a liturgical artist, her paintings,
drawings, and sculpture, which are imaginative, serious portrayals of the
spiritual life, enrich the sanctuaries of a number of churches in
Virginia.
Annis holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Virginia Commonwealth
University. She continued graduate studies in Art at Arrowmont School of
Crafts, the Penland School, and Hollins College, and earned local
prominence by teaching in the Art Departments of Lynchburg College,
Randolph-Macon Woman's College, and the Lynchburg Fine Arts Center.
