Churches

The Society of St. Andrew is an ecumenical Christian ministry that envisions a world in which physical and spiritual hungers of all people are met through God's grace and abundance. We invite the entire Christian community to join us in bringing our vision to reality.

The people of God carry a very special responsibility for the poor. The biblical witness makes clear that God expects that those who have been blessed with more than enough should share their abundance with those who do not have enough.
The Society of St. Andrew believes that if all Christians take seriously Jesus' commands there would be no person in America who ever experienced hunger.

There are a number of ways that churches can partner with the Society of St. Andrew to bridge the hunger gap in America by supporting our ministry. Please the menu to the right to learn how your church can get involved!

We are deeply honored by the generosity of those churches that make financial contributions to our ministry and by their trust in our commitment to good stewardship. We also greatly appreciate every church member who volunteers to go gleaning with us.
