Kansas
The Society of St. Andrew has delivered nearly 2.5
million pounds of salvaged potatoes and other food to the needy in the state of
Kansas
through the Potato Project. This has resulted in about 7.5 million
servings of food going to Kansas 's hungry.

Our Kansas gleaning office is
located in Kansas City. The approximate area for gleaning in
Kansas is shown on the map below.
Gleaning in Kansas takes
place as long as the weather cooperates. Most
gleaning events take place on weekends where gleaners arrive in the
fields around 8:00 a.m. and are on their way home by noon. The Society
of St. Andrew's gleaning coordinator makes all arrangements with farmers
and for produce containers and food distribution.
