In the Carolinas,
our Gleaning Coordinators are
becoming very busy as the summer
sets in. Our staff includes
Bill Waller in Eastern NC,
Tricia Lounsberry in
Fayetteville, Bill Walker in
Asheville, Kristen Shaben in
Charlotte, Ashley McCoy-Bruce in
Upstate SC, and a volunteer
gleaning coordinator, Walker
Rayburn, in Northeastern NC. On
April 1st of this
year, Jen Garrison joined us as
the new Triad Gleaning
Coordinator, and Rebecca Page
started as the new Triangle
Gleaning Coordinator. Jen is a
stay-at-home mom with an 8-month
old baby girl, and Rebecca has
been a homemaker to her two
children and husband. They both
have professional work
experience and academic training
in a range of fields, but found
themselves called to work with
farms and farming from their
personal interests. Welcome Jen
and Rebecca!
