The Nashville Food Project serves hot meals, hope - October 23 in The Tennessean - SoSA is highlighted as a provider of food to The Nashville Food Project as the project uses a specially-designed truck to deliver prepared meals to needy people in city neighborhoods.
   

August 22, 2011 - in The Crossville Chronicle (Tennessee) - "Gleaning helps Good Samaritans provide fresh produce to area families." Grower Johnny Jackson provided the first SoSA TN gleaning. His farm and home were heavily damaged by a tornado since then, but he is still busy working with SoSA.

   

July 23, 2011 - SoSA Tennessee coordinated a green bean drop of more than 19-thousand pounds. This process will continue to provide green beans to soup kitchens, food pantries, and low-income residents.

 

April 23, 2011 - Healthy Food for Hungry People - an article for AllergyKids Foundation written by Lynette Johnson, Tennessee regional director. The mission of the AllergyKids Foundation is to restore the health of our children and the integrity of our food supply.
